FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Oct. 2014) — On Friday, Nov. 7, Sunny Taylor will release her much anticipated album “Map to the Fire” with a CD release party and concert.

The full Sunny Taylor band will bring its folk-alt rock sound to The Phoenix, 1122 Broadway, Fort Wayne, at 8 p.m. Nov. 7. Cover charge will be $5 and albums will be available for $10.

“Map to the Fire” is Taylor’s first album since her self-titled EP in 2011 and her first full-length album in seven years, since “Lock the Door and Leave” in 2007.

The Sunny Taylor band consists of Taylor on vocals and acoustic guitar; Ben Porter on electric guitar, mandolin, and vocals; Peter Jacobs on bass and vocals; and Dan Willig on drums, cajon, and bells.

The artwork on the album was painted by local artist Terry Ratliff with photography by Mary Hettinger Riemen and hair by Brooke Woodward.

The album is her maiden release on Fort Wayne, Ind., label Rockhill Records, managed by local marketing consultant and musician Jon Swerens. Another first for Sunny Taylor: The CD of “Map to the Fire” includes the complete lyrics for her songs.
